From Producer Anthony Winkler:
Here’s a short film we made over the course of two weekends in January, 2013. We made it so people could get a sense of what happens over the course of The World’s Quickest Theater Festival; how artists and audience alike are effected when the theatrical experience is morphed by the compression of deadlines and the randomization of traditional casting methods. Watch it, and you’ll get a peek at the details, the challenges, and the growth that artists experience by committing wholeheartedly to a weekend of intense trust and collaboration. And you’ll get a sense of the rewards audiences reap by getting to watch these artists pressed to work at the peak of their abilities to deliver a theatrical experience like no other.
If the film inspires you to want to be a part of the festival in Seattle, email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know about you.
If you live somewhere else and think your community could be enriched by producing a festival, email Executive Director Shawn Belyea at email@example.com and we’ll figure out how we can help.
If the film inspires you to support The 14/48 Projects, you can make a donation, find out about volunteer opportunities by emailing Operation Director Megan Ahiers at firstname.lastname@example.org, or let Shawn know about grant opportunities using his email above.
